    know i didnt post much about SL-R lately but you know i was busy with many other things like


    CF and SWAT-T



    but now i have 5 weeks free and will put some work into SL-R


    again


    maybe those 5 weeks are enough to finish the mod ^^

    The Starlancer Reborn was/is more a conceptional mod while meanwhile I have to say that all concepts that I developed while working on this project (before CF1.8) are meanwhile part of CF.


    Just like on the Starlancer Sol War Project this one actually did benefit from all the work that has been done for CF. Ships, Planets, physics... over the years I was able to improve much that also could be used for this mod.


    Problem is I dont want to work on this mod any longer. At least not in the way it was.


    Today I have a different imagination of how this mod might look like (the basic structure of the systems). But I also had another idea. This Freelancer mod is a Total Conversation of the Starlancer game and a tactical RPG mod aswell.
    The best RPG is that RPG that is done by the players. So I want to make this a public community project where every modder, every player, simply everybody who visits this place can work ont his project... of course this requires to create a working platform where the people can share their ideas and their work.


    Actually it is up to the community if this project becomes a success... In best case we create a fantastic mod and in worst case you learn something about modding.

  • So let me ask, is this mod dead? I hope not but would like to know. I have the original Starlancer but it wont work on my computer, as I have windows 7.
