ive got 30 benchmark results comparing a p4 with the opteron i took all the results put it into a (complicated) calculation and the result was kinda insterested in some benchmarks the P4 was still better than the opteron... but in most cases the opteron had more powerthe average result of the calculation was that the opteron has 19,11% more power (average) than the P4
