Typically, how long does loot stay with hidden wrecks after you have blasted the wreck and left it float in space? My ship is small and I take all I can fit, sell it, and return as fast as I can. But it's gone. Is there a way to eject some of my other stuff to make room?

I never knew there was an option to "jettiso" cargo. How cool. I'd still like to know how long the loot stays around, though.
