As I've mentioned before, my internet is pretty bad. But the slow speed isn't even the worst part. What I have to do to get internet is disconnect from the wifi access point, change my MAC address, and then reconnect, and then sign in to xfinity and use a trial session for an hour, and when the hour is up, I must repeat this. The problem I have is that it will take me a bit over an hour to download the file, and I can't just pause the dl, and do my thing and then unpause, I tried this already, …

I mean I use google chrome. I don't think any other download manager would work. If my internet is slow, then it's slow, there's no getting around it. I guess I'll go look for a download manager, but I am skeptical. Edit: Also I'm reluctant to go installing random things like "download managers" on chrome because often times they are adware, which is really annoying, and tough to get rid of on chrome.
