You need to finish vanilla campaign first then continue to CF campaign. Vanilla is sligthly diferent from original FL it's a bit harder but the main story is the same. It is new experiance it looks a way better

I think you can't use saves from FL you need to do it all over again cos mission trigers but it's worthit trust me Remember one thing dont ever use auto save feature just do frequent saves when ever you dock somewhere. Feel free to ask anything everyone in the forum will be happy to help. You can try multiplayer also if you do see ya in space

Well i did't know that sry for my ignorance then that is good for me also. On next windows reinstall or game reinstall ill just keep one save from the last vanilla mission
