My Microsoft OS (Win7) blocked some of Crossfire's access to my home network (saw the dialogue box for the 1st time when I exited CF). I exited CF because I received a pop-up informing me I was banned from the server. I've since allowed CF to have full access to my LAN. Could the blocking be the cause of the banning? Can you tell me long I'll be in the penalty box? Many thanks, MM p.s. NIce game. I'm enjoying it.

Thank you Martind Forlan and Swat_Op_R8R for your quick responses, especially given it's the weekend. Both are much appreciated. I must admit; I am intrigued. Possible cheating. Wow, I wonder what I did. I had a new (64 bit) gaming machine built. I installed Freelancer from my game CD and without even playing it once I then installed Crossfire 2.0 as per the directions provided with the download. Cudos to SilverFox for the FAQ link to reinstalling Crossfire, and to Martind Forlan for suggesting I look at Norton Antivirus issues (the very next entry in the FAQ). Thank you both very much. I will look into both today.Martind, I'm not particularly glued to using Panda. If you know of an A/V that works really well with Crossfire, please let me know.
