In the ancient system, the first thing you do is, after scanning that satelite near you, docking with the GMG observatory (the scenario/cinematics should show you arround the system , then that human made station on top of an asteroid). The second part is going at a waypoint the guys in the station's bar give, follow it and kill some Ancient ships. That's mainly all in that system, without giving many spoilers.
