I agree with everyone who is against this "tactic", it's the most lame one and everyone who used it got hated and punished by players sooner or later. That is not a PvP tactic, it's a cat and mouse playing.

Because that tactic is not a PvP... for a PvP to exist both players have to fight eachother, not one run and the other one chase, where in bigger fights the chaser may have other people chasing him, while he's wasting the time to catch that runner, and if the chaser turns arround and fight the ones behind him, the runner turns arround as well and starts to use everything he has, including guns. That is why in a real life war, there were at least 2 fronts to fight eachother, never 1 front going …

Well, it's not practical either as people will even break the rules to destroy those runners at any moment of their game play. So he will be more than dead.
