That's not how it works.By the time you receive the transmission from Juni, you already are on mission 3. There is nothing between missions other than the freetime phases sometimes. but that is hardcoded.Once a mission ends the next mission starts right away. The mission design might give the illusion that you are not there yet, but technically you already are on a mission. This very much happens starting with mission 1 till mission 13.
