even ur downloaded file is corrupted or you have used other mods before and some files in the Freelancer directory are messed up now so download the mod again and use it on a fresh install of FL

the problems are the savegames from other mods you have used my documents/my games/freelancer/singleplayer/*.* delete them all or move them to a different directory
