With a lot of help from Exxorush, I finally got it working. What I did: Set an exclusion in my antivirus for the FL folder Set compatibility mode of Freelancer.exe to windows 8 At this point, I was getting CODE0 errors, so I turned off all shaders and the game ran. Now only if there were a way to get SMAA working...
