thats a good question I know what I need a station for in subnautica... but i dont know what I need it for in no mans sky.And the way stations work and look like in NMS is about the same as in subnautica.... just like they have copied the idea and even the look of the station modules. five hours ago I opened a topic on reddit and asked why i need a station in NMSdunno... the topic is still empty
