i wonder if you can assimilate the entire galaxy to your empire without using military force. But like, how do you determine which planets are priority? some empires in the end game have may 10-15 planets under their control. I'm usually pretty successful in starting and finishing a war. I usually make sure my fleet is strong enough to handle the counter-attack the AI offers but end up being 2-3k more power in fleet power which seems like is enough to tip the balance of the battle in favor the o…

yeah. I figured out the basics of war. After i take control of an enemy planet, i work on their happiness via a Propoganda Edict or hire the right governor. I'm still going to get different factions that i have to suppress, especially when using sectors (which is AMAZING). I chose not to enslave AI. I gave them rights. Definitely did not want a Robot Uprising and have my empire go the way of The Matrix

Some research will say "this will unlock further research" For example, Building Robots leads to AI and AI leads to AI rights. I've noticed that certain kinds of government focus on different research at first. Materialists might research stuff that will improve mineral and power output in the start of the game then focus to military by mid game It would be nice to know now how research options are presented

(Quote from SWAT_OP-R8R) To Infinite War? Sure there is! I don't even like CoD and if i had to pick the "best one" out of them all, it probably be the original Call of Duty. People tend to forget that before all the 12 year olds and middle aged men living in their parents basement brought Call of Duty into the mainstream (see CoD 4 Modern Warfare, Nazi Zombies) Call of Duty was actually enjoyable. Fun Fact: Captain Price is vampire.Modern Warfare: WWII:

so who's gonna play Star Wars The Old Republic with me? I had a subscription about 2 or 3 months but had to make some financial sacrifices and that was one of them. Hopefully the F2P won't inhibit me too much seeing as how i have at least one Level 65 character and i'm only halfway through the campaign (which is phenomenal by the way). Problem is playing Knights of the Eternal Throne requires a subscription. Haven't even played the original "campaign" mode. It's totally worth the 60-day subscri…

hate on EA all you want, I received Star Wars Battlefront as a christmas gift. It was the Ulitmate Edition which included the season pass (so i dont have to pay $15 for a new map. And I'm not sure why people hate on it. Sure there's spawn camping out the ass and it seems like your team runs around like chickens with their heads cut off more often than not. Level design definitely could be better as a map has maybe just 1 or 2 spawn points for your team (including the ability to spawn in on a "p…

I've been trying to find a community for Arma 3 and Squad. If anybody know's anything casual shoot it my way. Finally caved and bought Stellaris (on sale). OP we should try to conquer the galaxy. Also been looking for a nice rebalancing mod. It seems the AI always have massive fleets and armies. All my fleets combined had a rating of 9k and my federation allies (lets say humans for example) has one battlegroup of over 22k. A mod i used brought that number up to a whopping 163k! over 500 corvett…

So here where i'm spending my online time mostly: Home :: Squad Frontlines Squad combines the tactical gameplay of Arma with the fast paced action of Battlefield or say an older game, Joint Operations. About $40 on Steam. There is a lot more content to be added to the game such as APCs, Tanks, Helicopters and Jets. But for now, it's Infantry with Humvees, Technicals and one side gets BTRs. The developers are going to be adding Strykers soon enough so it doesn't take coordinated attacks from 2 o…

Got out of that tournament i was doing. Wasn't having any fun dying and playing on a team that didn't have their shit together. I have been playing a game called "The Turing Test" To summarizeIt is about a scientist who was woken early from a cryosleep in a station above Europa and was tasked by an AI who oversaw the construction of said space station and the base on the surface of Europa to investigate why the ground team had mysteriously gone silent. Upon arrival you discover that the base ha…

Starcraft II brought e-sports into the mainstream. It was much better when it was mostly underground playing Halo and Counter Strike 1.6 What followed was games like Overwatch, Rocket League and League of Legends. All of a sudden "Everyone is a pro-gamer." So every time i talk to someone who says "yeah, i play video games" "What do you play?" "LoL and Rocket League..." "have you heard of (fantastic underrated game 1, epic indie game 2, classic FPS 3)" "oh yeah, those games suck..." Makes me wan…
