Trying it on PC, let's see how it runs. All the human beings who don't want to hide are probably around the universe center. If I make a base I want it to be safely far away and near impossible to find, so a big space/world is attractive. Edit + TAB TIP: Game works awesome but it's true you can't Alt+Tab out and back in. BUT you actually CAN "Tab" back in the game if you open Task Manager and double click on no man sky's "application". At least game screen comes back for me every time. Edit2: H…

Im still on my spawn planet, talked with live aliens (but they wanted some rare substance which I gave in exchange for tech) in big camps/operation centers, found another crashed ship (which you can swap to and pilot the new ship instead) which had a distress signal I had to unlock by guessing the next number in a mathematical sequence, drop pods(extra inventory slot upgrade for exosuit), shelters, got warp drive and warp cells, next Ill go to space to see what this warping actually is. Edit: I…

I noticed now that the initial stars passing by scene when the game is loading is not random effects, it's the galactic map and you can see the solar systems you explored over there. Their names and stuff. BTW how the planetary maps are generated here and few trees n such spinning/deforming as you approach them in the distance, it's exactly like in "Planet Explorers" a game with the exact same topic as this one where you can also build vehicles weapons and ships and all but no going out in spac…

New TIP: youtube.com/watch?v=O-P1W6CbNhsApparently there's a very important decision making at the 3rd solar system you visit. I'm not sure why the low fps issues for you, with normal Intel MB and GTX card, I have stable 60 with everything maxed, SSAA x4 and Anisostropic on 8, even when flying or in space combat. 100 slots multi tool wtf ?? Highest I found was 8 or 10. My last spaceship, despite having seen dozen different "kinds" of ship shapes, it looked nearly like yours, same kind (at a Tra…

Yeah, no building or such, you can mine into the ground though (few areas with resources into the ground so its like mining) and you can blow off holes with the plasma at multi tool anywhere in the ground no matter if normal ground. Basically to make shelter from extreme conditions. Now I wonder what does it mean to survive a SOL in extreme condition planets though, will have to google. New equation I had to google... 80 71 63 56 ... xD Edit: Maximum starship cargo size is 48... unfortunately. …

Yeah, just found an extreme sentinel security one, now I know what the nice dog robot models in the mechanic rooms at the bases were for. Bit creepy to see them chasing you, and that on an Oceanic world, normal weather, but half full of oceans. They say once you see 10 planets you think u seen it all, well I dont have that opinion yet. Still get surprises, even seen hopping plants as creatures lol... And didnt find an extreme condition planet yet, extreme sentinel alert doesn't count. It works …

There are also trading machines on the walls with a big eye in any random base/shelter where you can buy zinc. And if you had a normal engine up, you can use the scanner in space (just outside athmosphere) it will point you to an abandoned building and trading post (at least for me). PS: Holy, 117 Toxicity no wonder Gek work on "substances"

When you meet with a "Space Anomaly" you can find your "Atlas path" again in case you strayed off it or never started it as you said no at the 1rst minute of gameplay ball, or anything like that. What is weird for me is that I spent those balls and created the new star but I didnt see any cutscene showing the new traveller or so, I just continued as if nothing, as it said I'm "free to explore" now. Guess I also have to reach the center. For me the balls costed 1000x mores to buy back, but still…

It's not, there's 3 waypoint systems (except when it's 4 because of Nada and Polo's waypoints to black holes), one is the orange "shortest path to the center" system, one is free roam, and 3rd is Atlas path which doesn't go the same way as the center path, but to the closest artifact, and I finished atlas path spent the 10 balls and Im not any closer to the center. What about you ? Did you finish the atlas path and got to the center or just read reviews. I have the global release game from GOG …

Deep purple. And sunrise. Lighting, shadows, all look perfect. Racing the sun is fun too, if it gets dark, you can just go up, fly to the other side of the planet and daytime it is ! PS: Flying with the animals. PS2: I need a way to favorite locations so I can go back there and build stuff once the announced Building system update is out. PS3: I've seen the ultimate being, challenged the bipedal sentinel walker, yet some Meat-eating diet critters got me jumping again right after jumping out of …

You are not supposed to jump from star to star, you can jump 10 stars away too (just keep pointing to the next star on the path), depends on your warp drive but it can go up to stars 1650 light years away or so. Crafting line: Suspension Fluid -> Electron Vapour -> AntimatterBut you have to discover the recipe at "Manufacturing Centers" or live aliens riddles. Im not sure what "monument" you ask about. If it's about atlas path, it's "Atlas Interface" a huge rhomboid station in space. But if you…

First is that red orb anomaly you see right when your ship is crashed and asks you to give in to it's guidance or not. Then you complete the repair your stuff and fuel your hyperdrive and etc quests and it will "call" you to the stars by itself in 3-4 warp jumps but for me it was in the jump after I learned the recipe for the Antimatter which makes you self sufficient and comes with storyline text in it, then starter quests continue, which is why some ppl have it at 3rd jump and others at 10th …
