my first day back, yesterday ... and i was completely lost almost no trading or smuggling mission around anymorethe only smuggling mission i could find failed because i was scanned (that never happened to me before) the remaining missions are more like "fly to system x and wait there for 1 hour for something eventually to happen"i tried 6-7 missions yesterday and except one (a simply trading mission for lousy 40k credits) all missions failed smuggling mission failed (eventhough i was running si…

everything is too complicated and nowhere the game explains how stuff works the majority of missions are time gated now which prevents me from doing them at all since i never know how long i can stay onlinenext to that is my ambition to wait half an hour for a mission to start very low bounty hunting... yes maybebut only between the missions... but hey... i cant interdict anymore so its no option any longer

a3 interdictor if i remember correctlyits poweredits in weapon group 2secondary fire button i was behind the target... i had weapon group 2 active... I was in range (otherwise it would display "not in range"... and im damn sure that secondary fire works and well.... i am playing mission and doing bounty hunts (well i did in the past) in order to gain new ranks with the factionsthat is the only thing that motivated me to play just like huor i really have problems to find a good motivation to pla…

todays experience:took a mission to kill somebody at a specific time...cant find any ingame clock outside space docks... which makes it tricky to do such missions at all since my local time is apparently not the same time as the game timefound the target... and dropped the missions since this lousy 50k mission was about killing an anaconda + a large wing of escorts then i took a smuggler mission5ls before reaching the target station i got interdicted and could not evade it no matter how hard i …

OkI gave this game another chance this weekend and clearly can say that it wont get another chance from me. Really this game is absurd.Putting aside that on many stations I cant find missions anymore the previously existing problems with the missions and their value have not been fixed. The only change I see is that the job board takes even longer to load and has a more unneccesarily complicated layout. Accepting missions is like commiting suicide.I have done so and was interdicted 5 times on th…

I have a very similar pythonbut thats not the point and infact that should not be the point because such ships are with all the A-grade equip expensive enoughhowever, a player that constantly gets killed cant even get such equipment... not by regular gameplay. even if with a specific high-end setup ships become durable enough to survive a combat a bit longer... every player first has to get to that point which isnt possibleI see alot of arguementation online which goes like "you have to have th…

I am sorry that you see it this way. You must think that I am a complete asshole that isnt giving this game a chance.Well, I think I gave this game a chance.... I invested the money for the main game.... and later when people told me that it is worth to get horizon I also went for it.I played it for a good amount of time.Actually I starting to play the game because I wanted to find a game for the players of this community. That was my main motivation to buy the game and keep playing it for a goo…

And that is something i cant do. I cant spent time with other groups while knowing that the group which matters (this portal) suffers or at least doesnt get the attention it deserves. That in my eyes just wastes valuable time in an environment that still isnt working well. I simply disagree with you on the stuff about ships and balancing.I completely disagree with you about that. You keep trying to tell me that I have to have specific loadouts to play correctly.I told you that I have such loadou…

Yes, information really is an issue in this game.I mentioned this in an earlier review where i wrote that not even the fundamental gameplay aspects are getting explained. There is the arguement "you learn to play the game by playing it".By default it is not a bad arguement as this is valid for pretty much every other game aswell. But ED is extremely terrible introduced to the players. The very few tutorial missions are not well done.... infact they just tell you to do something without really exp…

like I said... information that players would require inside the game (before they decide to give up playing the game) the game has fundamental problems in terms of information, UI, balance and long term motivation. But at least we can buy bobbleheads and ship spoilers(aka ship kits). I am 100% sure that 99.9% of the players are not even aware that this game even has a story(line).

(Quote from Huor) Yes a storyline you could play and experience is a very motivating aspect in games. Unfortunatly does ED only have a live-story. That means the developers tell the story by putting stuff into the game and hope that eventually a player discovers that stuff. Then a newsletter or galnet news appears that something has been discovered. OR there are community events (e.g. building a station) which represent a story element. The problem is... if you dont know that an event is running…
