One thing I should have added - as I came across it on a reinstall yesterda myself : At least at the first time - run the "Freelancer.exe" file as administrator not from the desktop iconcreated during the activation on your desktop but from C:/Programs(x86)/Microsaft Games/Freelancer/EXE folder directly. After this also the desktopp icon should work. Hope it helps you M8
