try this 1. delete ur freelancer directory 2. delete ur freelancer singleplayer savegames or move them to a different folder 3. download the crossfire mod again (coz maybe ur download was corrupted) 4. install FL again 5. doubleclick the downloaded mod to load it into FLMM 6. activate the mod 7. run FL

well so far crossfire 1.52 has been downloaded about 1500 times and it seems to work for all those guys... so its unlikely that the mod is bugged or has a damage sometimes it helps to search for problems on the own PC - like: is the mod installed correctly.... are there still old savegames... is freelancer installed correctly... is there enough space on the hdd... is there a problem with the firewall or other programs

well ehmm - i check lancersreactor daily... could you give me the link where those ppl posted the reports? oh and btw... yes many ppl had problems here to install the mod but this was not because of crossfire... it was because of other mods that have not been uninstalled correctly or savegames... and if 6 guys have problems to run the mod and 1500 others have no problem then i would say the problem cant be the mod i dont really know what you are doing wrong... i really dont know
