No. .. CF is "installed" in two steps: mod installation which will install it into FLMM directory mod activation (in FLMM) which will unpack/copy all files into "vanilla" FL folder and do needed settings. It looks like you did only 1st step, which will made no changes to your installed vanilla Freelancer (FL). Detailed guide for mod install/activation is in FAQ as mentioned in previous post.
