Last night there was an announcement in Tau Dewa that the devs are instantly closing all system patrols there.This is a reaction to the massive xp grind at the Japori system. I disagree on that.First of all, games are meant to be fun. Most players in STO have completely lost that fun since the release of the new season.The Patrol stuff is infact no exploit at all. Its a game mechanic which was introduced 3 years ago to allow players of different levels to play with each other through the game content (that btw. does not only work on patrol missions, it works on EVERY story mission aswell).It was absolutely intended to work like this from the first day this game mech…

Well yeah. Ive certainly not been praising the developers and their decisions and clearly pointed out they have broken pretty much every of their promises. Ive even tried to prove that their explanations and calculations are not true.Someone using math and logic as argumentation is certainly dangerous. *sigh*I can live with the current state... its not nice... not customer friendly... not honest... but i can live with it.

whats not written in yesterdays patch notes isxp for killng npcs has been once more nerfed by 20%xp for doff missions is now 60% lower than before npcs in kerrat have become incredible hard to kill even in normal difficutly (just like the old elite)... the only rewards i got from killing the borg there or the repair nodes were idiotic consumables there is hardly a day when ppl dont notice some new crap in this gameeven the rep marks that were rewarded hourly from the nukara and solanae tribbles…

Ive made a mathematical approach on the xp boxes on the STO forums (probably the reason why i got silenced since that happened right after that and that thread got locked). Well, a 1000xp box costs 200 zen since it has been nerfed. From LVL 1 to LVL60 you need to earn incredible 758.000 xp.So thats 758.000/1000*200 = 151600 Zen.A standard LVL60 char without and further upgrades in spec points is worth 151600 zen.Or... based on lets say the standard Zen purchases (1100 zen for 9.99€) -> 1376,81 …

I think there is not enough complaining and calculation actually. Games are about fun and some people in STO accept too lightly game breaking changes which destroy the fun of the majority.I have no problem if the developers earn good money with their work but i have a problem with the fact that meanwhile they consider players to be cows they can milk dry.
