  • Yeah, I used to pick my own intrusion and AV software from the many available free ones, but my cable TV outfit (Comcast) gives Norton as a perk, so I started using it. It's like Kristofferson said, "Nothing ain't worth nothing, but it's free."

  • Here is an update. I used the info from NucNuc to force Norton to allow the files. It allowed me to install and run Crossfire 1.9. Unfortunately, I found that my PC doesn't have the horsepower to handle the far better graphics. I have a lousy on-board Geforce 6150SE chip set and it is too feeble. No doubt CF 2.0 will be even more graphics hungry, so it looks like I need a new PC. Always nice to have an excuse to upgrade.
