  • (Quote)I also.Hour, perhaps you could explain, what you mean with : (Quote)Do you mean, that the player/char leaves the system IN GAME (escaping, as "offered" by OP as one of the 3 options for the taxed/fined char in his starting post)orthat the player/char leaves the system OF the GAME (char switching/leaving the game/server at all, as "interpreted" by Forlon) ? THX in advance
  • WOW, quick answer. Thx for this clarification of taxing/fining as it is atm. That really has the potential of boosting "roleplay" up. If taxed/fined, no other way out of it then paying or dyi.... fighting. Might need a propper planning : playing time / real life, no - or quite "risky" - walk for the loo.
  • Could imagine, that pirate has then about 10 or more "funny" players at his six But as I understood Huor : you have to TARGET a/every single char, before the "/tax" command works at all. The "funny pirate" you mentioned would need to VERY fast in typing, before he get shot down.
  • @ denne This is what Huor said and I referred to (Quote)I think, that means, the just "/tax" command works only with another char SELECTED from contact/scanner listand not taxes each and every char in scannerrange.
  • Sry for possibly "necrothreadding", but due to some thoughts about this thread I remered, that I forgot to ask about (Quote)Does "police forces" mean npc police as well as police-RP players ??
  • TY for the quick answer
  • Looks the tax/fine system works as intended, no more "other-player-kill-I-got-fine/tax" ... and the rest is question of "settings"
  • (Quote from SWAT_OP-R8R) That wasn't working ... fully.
  • @Soul EaterThe "conquest system" is somehting purely and only clan related, as it is intended to work in conjunction with bases, which only clans can build ( Crossfire 2.0 Clanbases + Conquest System ). ASF/CSF was - as far as I know its ... history - a "mainly" clan based RP, as a kind of "supra-clan"-clan. But that "eroded" in the last couple of years somewhat as well as clan life at all (due to ... player drain [?]).But I wouldn't want o write ASF/CSF RP completly off. With the ease of obtai…
  • (Quote from Soul Eater)??
  • (Quote from denne)Hmmm, that would mean a pirate or police officer is forbidden his roleplay as long as he has a bounty on his head. Not good. But what about an increase of bounties ? Tax/fine is capped atm at 20 000 000. Increase the allowed bounty up to level 59 to 10 000 000 and from level 60 to 20 000 000 ? That could even the odds a bit on "counter-tax/fine" against mercs. (Quote from denne)Agree with you, if possible, there should be a "lock" on a fined/taxed player, not to be able to be fi…
  • (Quote from denne)I just don't know and I question/doubt if such a selective exemption would be possible. (Quote from denne)Not allowed by RP-rules, if no "proof of criminal act" aka attack on the police officer or near time other criminal act with proof of it (sreeny chat window showing "criminal act") (Quote from denne)At that time the merc could have already moved for escape. Also from "hunting" the according opponent/police officer most likely will respawn somewhere else, than "just on the …
  • (Quote from Bond)... know how : not half an hour. (atm, with other changes applied during the further developement might change also)
  • (Quote from ramses)That's how it is supposed to be, but doesn't work AT THE MOMENT. (Quote from ramses)Sry, but roleplay rules over npc missions. Tax/fine must be solved first. Counter fine and kill them before you go back to npc fighting. (Quote from ramses)Try to expel them from there, FINE them everytime you see them (Quote from ramses) THEY are the real enemies, not the npcs. (Quote from denne)Pirate are not NECESSARELY Kill On Sight. There are situations a pirate might be willing to pay in…
