You can't play with "Deactivating" the mod, that won't work as it's not capable of restoring everything that was edited, as CF even scratches FL's engine itself. That's why it only works once. Every time you want to change mods or such, you have to Uninstall everything related, and installing again, on a clean Freelancer install. Or you can have 2 Freelancer installs, each one with a different Mod on them. But Crossfire will never simply "Deactivate".
