There is no sound in space... neither if planets collide It's a simulator not totally a "game". But you can put your own music, many have their playlists, used even in games like CF. And the resolution parts are configurable I think, the first time they set up an optimized config for your PC's capabilities. And it's currently under development, they recently released version 2.15. It was "Beta" before passing version 2.

lol Cresthen... Huor: As there is no materia/particles to vibrate to move the sounds along, there are no sounds in space. Sound is not like light that has it's own particle with a mass + vibration to travel the void.
