You may already know this but with AVG if you go to "components" then click on Anti-virus, then find the line that says Enable and uncheck it. Complete install then go back in and re-enable the anti-virus. I leave mine running all the time and haven't had any issues that couldn't be resolved. If I get what I know to be a False alert on any of the CF files, I just add those files to the exception list and no issue after that.
