Hmmm... I don't think there's a hack to spawn a box arround. The only similar thing is when you activated ship turning(spinning on itself on left/right) buttons, from time to time it blocks your controls. But I remember those buttons have been taken out from the menu/options with 1.8.

Or simply keep that option deactivated, it won't help mroe than it "can" damage. In 1.8, on my list there wasn't such option anymore, the other 2 buttons to spinn were missing as well. I never checked that detail in 1.9.

There aren't more options to activate ship movement-related stuff than this one. And that option was giving this problem. For now, we can just wait for his reply about this option.

@1, the system data refreshes exactly when you undock, when the server reads your char, when did this changed ? and it needed a while to kill that guy, tell it to somebody else and still appear in Altair when others check it and keep moving in Altair.

That's not an excuse It needs your *magic* Unless it comes from client side modding, which gets too much used lately, it has to come from some hook related feature.
