lol ! nice but right story. Well, it happens with all NPCs, mainly, it just depends on some luck and skills. NPCs automaticly go for th ehostile losest to them, and if you keep using the "closest enemy" button/option, it can happen to targe the same hostiles. Try to target the ones that are already in front of you, clicking on them and firing. -

Then you can bribe Zoners, but that will affect your rep with Corstairs, or depending on which base you bribed them. But anyway Corsairs barely change when killing Xenos, so you can bribe thsoe separatedly
