You know about changing the video's format to optimize them for Youtube, and make them weight less (less Mbs for the same image quality), right ? It's in certain manuals on Youtube, as I remember.

In mp4, I'd only explain 550 MB for like an hour of video, maybe more, never looked exactly, but changing from .avi to mp4 with a good free tool from internet(which has certain codecs) gets things down to 100 MBs and so.
