What about SP? I thought the problem was that if we had save files when re-installing Freelancer, the game would not launch (at least that's what happened the first time I tried to install Crossfire, had some old save Freelancer save folder that screwed up everything). Will I have to re-play through the beginning?

Many thanks, that's approximately what I was about to do if I had to re-install, minus the part where you start a new game for the new folder to be created. Now I can keep playing safely^^
