I have never had a problem with this Debs in nearly 2 years of using them. It could be that with certain sound cards there is a prob? Ok, Having the same problem in Altair? It is an interesting problem and turning down effects has worked? GFX card problem perhaps or Direct X? I was on earlier in Hudson shooting DEB's and had no probs at all. Maybe tomoz you will be online and grab me, we can investigate and Ill film and talk face to face.
