i just checked a minute ago: no probs with the update process here, all is working fine! i do get file 1 to 8 without any problem and the MP button gets enabled... in ur case E4 means trouble with updating a file, as u already mentioned (more error numbers explained in the CF Guide in the section "Crossfire Launcher") u say that file 6 or 7 do troubles on ur machine, what about file 1 to 5? do they download? if ur connection is not the problem, maybe u have troubles with ur installation... did …
