  • Cant activate mod anymore

    So i decided to deactivate the mod to change the settings, the trent outfit, ect, activate bump mapping with motion blur, after that i reactivate the mod and it brings up this msg: "Error: Problem with activating Crossfire 1.81 mod client edition, look log for more details, do you wish to restore backup (strongly recommended). So... yeah...
    First it hit No, did nothing, then i hit yes, it restored, tried activating the mod again, still the same thing, tried restoring again...

    heh sorry i should of posted this in the technical problems forums but, i got a pretty solid system with everything up to date, i will try to get a screen shot up here later tonight when im playing it again.

  • single player same as vanilla?

    I only played the vanilla for like 5 minutes, found the graphics and such to be dull so i dled crossfire. Is the CF SP suppose to be the same as vanilla? I think i searched a thread adn said it is, do i still get the additional content like the graphics improvement, newer ships, the new systems, ect?


    also i dont know why but the game looks like its shadowed, everything seems dark, and black. like the planets in space and the ships are very dark, like a dark blob, is that due to the dynamic lighting?

  • 1366x768 resolution

    I know there has been threads about this.. ive searched, spent about an hour and a half reading through them all. Still no solution for me, i am not good with adjusting files, i dont understand how to adjust the font's and fov with trial and error. anyone with this resolution who can help would be better. The menu at the top is cut off and i cant even start the game in single player. I tried trial and error by adjusting my fov, and still the same. thanks!
