I hope this clears up the Server Rules for everybody ...

The death of a computer can be a traumatic and frustrating experience, more so if that computer is the center of your "universe". My condolences and sincerest sympathys, because all of us go through the loss of a close personal computing friend at one time or another.
Hoping to see you in a new rig soon...

    Towbot.

I've got some big guns in my cargo hold for you. Pay ME big money and I'll transfer them over to you. Then you can go on what ever imaginary killing spree you want.

(why am I even talking to this guy?)

Copied from the Crossfire web page:

    Bullpup Mk III Assault Freighter

    Gun/Turrets Mounts: 6/3
    Armor: 21000
    Cargo Space: 400
    Max Batteries/NanoBots: 120/120
    Optimal Weapon Class: 8
    Max. Weapon Class: 10
    Additional Equipment: M, CM, CD/T

A throwback to old designs, the Bullpup is a stout ship nevertheless. No engineer has claimed responsibility for the design, but many factions are seeking to use the ship for their armadas. This is the last step in the Bullpup series. This attack Freighter has a frightening amount of guns, plenty of power and a cargo hold to haul in the riches. A very stable ship, able to defend itself as well as it hauls cargo. This model uses a pilot and 2 co-pilots OR robots/androids to fill the roll.

I believe that the Bullpup III has two of it's three turrets firing in the forward arc.
    (late post)

I've found the Bullpup III to be an excellent
freighter. It's huge cargo hold, gracious shield batteries and nanite
storage are an excellent choice for the bang for the bucks ratio.

Armour is adequate without being too heavy.

The addition of a second thruster is what endears
this ship to my heart. Although she may not be able to go toe to toe
with a well equipped fighter, she has double the afterburner speed of
any other ship. This alone makes the Bullpup III and excellent
trading ship because sometimes it's better to get out of trouble
faster than you got into it.

One side note, because this ship has two thrusters
she goes through a "burn" twice as fast as other ships. I
recommend getting up to top speed the hitting the kill engine button
    (Z) and coasting where you need to go. Course adjustments can then be
corrected with a short burst from the after-burn button (TAB).

I have used this ship all through Sirius and she
works great as a mission completion ship.

P.S. Make sure to ask for permission from the clan
where you purchase this ship because they will blow you to space
    junk.

For the last couple of weeks, the multiplayer auto-loader on my
computer for Freelancer Crossfire has been acting sluggish and
out-right locking up when I tried to "Connect to Server" or
    "Exit Crossfire Universe".
Being the lazy person that I am, I would simply Ctl-Alt-Delete to
the task manager and kill the program from there.
But to-day, after an automatic update to Java ,(Version 6
    Update 26),
the program has restored it's self, and is now
so well behaved that I had to double check and make sure I was using
    the same computer.
Was anyone else experiencing any slow downs or crashes recently?
If so, did updating Java do anything for you?
I'm curious because this was an unexpected quick fix, not that I'm
    complaining...

My computer is an i7 920, 6 GB memory, 1TB WD HDD with an Invedia 550 ti 1GB video card.

    This one's from Canada...
There once was a girl from Sydney,
Who could take it right up to the kidney,
    Then a man from Quebec,
Drove it right up her neck,
Now he had a big one, didn't he?
