Sorry if i ask again, you run did run the installation of crossfire.
- yes. i've downloaded my version from moddb.com
That installs the mod to the mod folder of flmm,
- correct i even checked that
you have a clean installation of freelancer (not a demo version)
- yes, i have the original game, same cd i used to install 1.7 , 1.8 and 1.82
and the activation of crossfire 1.9 in flmm did run without any problems.
- yes, it never faild
I'll retry tomorrow on different hardware, maybe that will sort things out.
thank you for your help! -
reinstalled all with minimum graphic settings and...
still no go
So I guess that's also not the problem. -
dunno exactly, i have tried several options while activating
i have a radeon x1650 display adapter so graphics shouldn't be an issue
i will try one activation with all graphics set to minimum to be sure... -
in my case mpr.dll is red under setupapi.dll

downloaded msjava.dll and put it in the windows system32 directory
running dependency walker again...
1 warning remaining:
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.in the FAQ of dependency walker:
Some versions of SHLWAPI.DLL (like the one on Windows XP) have a delay-load dependency on the function WNetRestoreConnectionA in MPR.DLL. Missing delay-load functions are not a problem as long as the calling DLL is prepared to handle the situation. Dependency Walker flags all potential problems as it cannot detect if an application intends to handle the issue. In the case of SHLWAPI.DLL, this is not an problem as it does not require WNetRestoreConnectionA to exist and handles the missing function at runtime. This warning can be ignored.sigh....
