    well to be honest I am not too much into the Star Citizen news and game contents but as far I could read you don't have to spend real money to repair your ship or buy another one. Well you have to spend money to get a new ship and also spend money for lost equipment (without insurance) but you can also buy stuff with game money and not only with real money. As far I remember Criss Roberts didn't want to have a pay to win game. But in other hand you can already playing games that are not officially pay to win but secretly they are (more or less)
    At the end we will see.


    I guess Blizzard was the first company who gets very rich in taking monthly fee (payment) so now other company's say that what Blizzard has achieved so far to get rich, we can do it better..

    I have nearly played every space Sims, but the only Games I really loved to play were made by Chris. e.g. Lands of Lore. For some reason I never played Star Lancer o.o.....
    But I guess the 6.2 mil. Dollar Donate shows that many ppl out there love his games and this also shows that ppl. are willing to support him. I am also very confidence that Star citizen will be a good game, maybe not a great one but a good one....we will see.

    I agree with what you guy say. First of all people pays the money because ppl see in Chris Roberts the creater of space simulations (action). Off course There was other games before Wing Commander, how ever all the great games I played and also many friends of me were made by him (his team).
    So thats why People trust in him and ppl wish to see a new space simulation like all the great games we know from him. And yes I can good imagine that Star Citizen would cost lot of money. Not only by buyingt the game also by runningt the game, as it has been told by OP for many other things. How ever I am sure ppl would gladly pay the money when they can get something which they were looking/waiting for it since agaes.....
    So I hope Chris can give ppl what all we are expacting and I hope this time Chris can take his time and creat a game as the way he wants it to be. And hopefully there wont be a EA or Microsoft which again try to over take his Company.......

    Sorry guys I don't want to attack anyone but it pains me when I see a mod with potential but as I mentioned before a serrver that is not stable. Imo it will get very very hard, even nearly impossible to creat a Community or to see more player on cf when the server stays like this !!

    I also do not know what the reason for those server crashes are however once is clear to me that if those crashes will still remain and not reduce or better eliminate, it is going to be be hard to stablish a high number of players in CF and for community and also not a good thing for future of CF !!

    I know that with Freelancer thingy but you would grow the role play in that way and it is not
    something new/revolutionary....has been proven before many times. That rule helps to bring/more role play in that way imo.


    I know that is not easy with ship thingy but possible. I don't need to fly the best ship , at least not with one of my char.....but anyway its a suggest...I just want the people think about the points. I got much more ideas but its enough for now ;)

    Few points which imo should be followed if you guys wants to improve the role play:


    1. I would suggest that there MUST be a rule to make ID more usefull. That means that for example players over lvl (xy) MUST wear a ID. Those who doesn't can be hunted by every player until they got a ID !!


    2. Those who are getting enemy (red) to other players, because of wearing the ID should (not must) been attack!!


    3. Belonging to a faction means flying the ships of the faction and not others


    4. Clan system should be in the same area which the clan belongs to!


    etc.

    Thy for the Video Huor. I am waiting for this game since 2006. But I guess at least 3-5 year will be needed to finish the game since its more or less programming by 1 person. However the game definitely looks good and as you know there are unlimited systems. But I am not sure how ppl would react after visiting the 100th empty planet because soon or later you could get bored or not see any players. Its important to fill this hugh space with life which is impossible...... but we will see ;)

    Instead of insult ppl why you guys don't try to help this players by given them hints. Indeed the game is not hard to play but like everything in this world once %u201Eyou find out how%u201C things get easy. So my advise try to help beginners instead of insult or ignore them...so don't be surprise when you are not going to see enough ppl on this server than!

    Try a clean install of Freelancer.

    I thought there could be another way because I just installed FL few days before (clean Install) however I installed it again and yes it works now.Thx for the answer
