I was finally able to DL the CF 1.9 mod. On my second attempt I did get it to work correctly. After (of course) a clean install of FL and FLMM.
Although it only alowed me to do the single player mission play. I suspect the trick is in the FLMM option window. Will try it tommorow.

I had a same problem every time, then i start to use DL manager.Works 100%
Since then i keep occupied some storage place at my HD in order to save a day -
