I agree on the rhino for the early missions, when I first played FL SP I went the entire way with freighters lol now that was a nice challenge.

One of the most important parts in my opinion is exploring. Also if you having a trouble doing missions for money in a fighter, if you can find a trading ship... Also what 1m trading ship? I have too doubt you really looked around all too much. Slow yourself down and explore.

Let us bring down the volume, SP is nice and so is MP. MP has a vast amount of possibilities, which will be surely explored. There are people who have responsibilities and play MP.

My question is, how many times are you going too play the campaign? After sometime it should get boring playing only SP. You can play both also, think of MP an expanded game.

Anyway I just felt like there was heat for no good reason.

Nice idea on the original post, I am one of those SP too MP people, although I only played SP too get used too a few things.

Next time check the Windows Task Manager, and end the process for freelancer. This always works for me, which I do whenever I don't see my screen change brightness.

My ID has stayed the same each time I have installed as far as I know... are you sure you didn't install on a different user?

Edit: Another idea that came too me was, download Freelancer Account Manager and after installing it, have it look for FL accounts on you computer. I really don't know if this will end up helping you or not. It just makes sense too me that this may help you out.

That is an interesting change OP and a bit more realistic, since it is unwise too use them up so fast like they do. Of course NPCs aren't normally dodging as good as a player can.

I really don't understand what POV you have on it being too difficult, surely it isn't money, so what is it?

Also I would recommend that you would skip Open SP if your going too play MP. It will save you some time and since your not doing the campaign anyway then there won't be much of a difference. Also when on the server, you can get help from other players. Plus there is a lot more too do in MP then SP (due too other players).

You don't have too turn off your anti-virus in-order too have it allow the files it is calling virus's. Inferno is correct in his instructions, in addition I would just say come too understand your anti-virus program a lot better. The more you understand something, then better you can use it and all that jazz-nass!

It is not too difficult in my opinion, a challenge if your not doing open SP anyway. Difference there of course is that one has missions required too level/rank up and one does not. I have been trying out the SP every once in a while and I think it is not too hard. Sometimes I think the difficulty or AI even got lowered a little. (In comparison with CF 1.7)

Try it out and I think you will find it alright in the difficulty area, awesome elsewhere.

You also get 150k credits starting out, which is enough too do fine.

What occurs before the crash? Also, what settings did you alter when you activated CF? It refers too the first upload, if you downloaded it now it would be correct. (Date of upload apparently didn't get updated is what I have been thinking, read it somewhere here)

I had crashing problems at first, left most of it as default and screen capture off. I also had too turn on the compatibility mode for lesser graph. cards, of course I had done that the first time anyway.

If we gambled, my money would be on a setting when activating.. which looks like I wouldn't get much of a pay off. hehe

As for the Trojan issue, try making exceptions for CF maybe?
Otherwise I would suggest turning of the Res Shield or w/e it is for you for the time. You would then want too reactivate it and make an exception for CF and its folders. I am pretty sure this should end the problem.

Question in relation too the players whom already have the current correct download; Do we need do download 1.81 when it is released? (Clean Install ofc)

We all make mistakes and forget things. Going too go and see if I can get in now, I went too the CF FL Server website and only saw an image instead of players or server rebooting.

Down with ship registration! No need too know so much about a ship flying around. Besides mystery is so much better then a spoiler.

I saw 1 player on, but couldn't get in. I will check the forum and it occasionally of course... I really want to get into space! I guess I could play some poker until then, not feeling the SP at this time.
