    i can also get my mod running on a 10 year old pc... question is how it will look like and how the performance will be in certain situations

    As with all old things lol, gotta be treated right :D, I did do some testing of my own, I have some screenies of me being in a battle with some 25 npc ships all firing at me, granted I didnt last very long, but I still managed a FPS of 45+ :) But as you said we shall see, My guess is alot of people can run it no problem, the current version is far FAR better than the demo lol

    Just need to ask, what do you qualify as old hardware? I get 45 - 60fps and my rig is.... old. 5 years old the graphics card is 6 almost 7 now. and thats even running FLServer, Skype and a whole host of other programs all at the sametime. As for majority of FL players is on old hardware.... I'm on what would be considered legacy hardware. Im running the game at 1920x1080 and i get that FPS... I dont think thats something you can sniff at... specially because my system is as old as it is.

    Im just trying to clear up this whole "It runs like a sack of crap" crap.

    ordinary tradelanes (without 3d model)
    ordinary jumpgates (without 3d model) for jumps within the system just like we have in sol already
    and a few ale effects

    Just for claritys sake, its not ordinary :), those lanes and jumpgates didnt exsit in the system. They were spawned in on the fly. In other words. you can make 10 of them if you so wished, to all different locations in the system (for the lanes) and it is placed into the system on the go. Just want to make it clear..ish? :D
