Pff in fact it was the same bug with my saves.

First i had "MissionNum = 41" and i wasn't allowed to do level 43 missions.

So i wrote "MissionNum = 100" but then news and rumors disapeared from the game so of course the CF quest was desactivate.

Now i wrote "MissionNum = 42" that allows me to do all missions (level 43 included, strange) AND to acces rumors & news...

So i returned in Sovetskaya and decrypted the code i found in a wreak. It went to this sector in Gurm... and found nothing more.

In fact, i explored Gurm before that and i found a rescue pod (empty) and a gate to Hieron near that sector...

(it's difficult, aliens that own Hieron are not my friends and i cant pay to change that).

I returned on earth but nothing new ! Waste of time.

(And of course i found the gate to Sovietskaya etc. 2 weeks ago...)

Pfff my problem changed...

I can't do the CF mission.

In Altair i found a message that i have to talk about with a coalition member, but i went in all bases in Sovietskaya and Vorkuta without any contact.

In Death valley i found a message for planet crossfire but nothing happens there...

What am i supposed to do with that messages ?

And can i sell the coordinates of earth, they take place in my inventory (scrolling all the time is boring) ?

In fact i don't want to restart the game (especially exploration).

And i am not english so it's would be difficult to communicate with you.

What is the interest of the MP on the SP if i can't really talk with you ?

(this short text takes me a few minutes and a dictionnary, and it's probably full of errors).

I think Centaurian is right cause the message for missions is :

"No missions available. Too many players are accessing the job board. Come back later."

That's different with "come back when you are frieldly..."

I have got this message on Earth too.
But it's all right in most of the CF systems.

Apparently, in "MissionNum = 41", 41 is the missions level dificulty i can do.

But it's different with the level in game.
42 allows to do level 43 missions.
At 43 news deasapear from the game...

I am testing 42 in CF SP.

Another thing : in CF SP i saw a messages that indicates ~no missions, to many people connected. It was in the SEKAR system. I don't now if it's a real bug, cause CF is first a MP mod. But purharps it's not difficult to corretc that in CF 1.8...

I know level 38 is the max in SP.
I am level 38 but the game don't care.
I cant do best missions (in Corsairs and Outcasts bases for example).

The game tels me :
"No mission available. Come back when you are a most advanced pilot."

I can do only easy and medium missions.

Do i need a lever higher than 38 or that's always this bug ?

Pfff i managed to modifie a save during hours but i didn't solve the problem. As if the problem wasn't my saves.

Nobody else ever had my problem ?

The problem is that i can't do most of the CF missions, their level is too high for me (but i am level 38 !)

I found a file called RankDiff.ini in the game, it could help me ? This file contains :

I found the Freelancer Simple Save Editor !
I try it now.

I returned on Freelancer this week to try your great mod Cross fire.

Problem : I have finished the game and i am level 38, but in game, my profile indicates that i have to do a mission to reach the next level (it seems impossible).

Probably because of that, i can't do some missions : the game tells me that i have not the required level.

I tryed the "IONCROSS Freelancer Character Editor" but i can't change my level and i don't know how to "terminate" a mission.

The problem is the same without CF mod.

PLEASE HELP ME !
I want to play to CrossFire but it's not interesting if i am limited.

EDIT : now i am looking for the "Freelancer Simple Save Editor" but i can't find it (Lancer's is down).
Could any one give me a link to DL it ?
