    i dont know about everyone else but i think trading shouldnt be the only primary sorce of money income. there should be missions in the pub hat run from6-10 million..

    I do have a shortcut that works though.


    To save time and trouble, go into your Microsoft Games directory and change the name of the "Freelancer" folder to "Freelancer1." To be safe do the same for the "Freelancer" folder in "My Games" directory. Now you can install a new copy of vanilla FL and activate the mod you want to use. From that point on whenever you want to play either CF or a different mod, simply swap the folder names. Whichever is called "Freelancer" at a given time will be the one that is run.     ok... i have a problem... when i start freelancer it crashes ands popes up a window that says "yeah, nice, CINNAMON BITS".... never seen this before

    i need to know what i need to to to deactivate this mod. i need to test another for a friend. im assuming its just restore backups but i dont wanna reload the thing, takes forever...

    ok... i have solved the issue of the internet access and disconnection while downloading but ITS NOT OVER


    before you ask Hagar, i want to say yes i did the clean install....and yes ive looked through the CF guide


    heres my problem: i start the launcher and everything i cool..it downloads all 8 file in a few seconds (around 3 or 4) next thing i know the "start multiplayer' key is open and up and ready i click on it and the launcher closes and the next thing it does is


    thats the thing, it does nothing it just stops ther no error message, no "this program has stopped responding, you chose to end a unresponsive program" nothing, same thing with single player...


    i checked FLMM and the mod is activated, the mod version at the top f the launcher says v1.56, and the freelancer icon does havee the red CF across the bottom..


    i have alos tried to pass freelancer through the firewall and even shut the firewall down..nothing


    what do i do?

    ok i just found out that it was comcast... they had some poorly protected fiber optic cables recently added, and they gor dirty, restricting the light flow. it nice and fast now... and it took all of half a second to load this page.


    im downloading right now and its a file 56


    alright soo.... il be on tonight because im tired of waiting


    thank youevery one who helped me (which is really no one)


    and i dont even know why im taking so long to post this so.... oh! its done!

    (in other words comcast is screwing up...) i have a total internet connection of 154mb/s and it take 47 seconds to load this forum page..... yeah i spent a whole 20 min just replying to this....grrrrrr...... we have confermied its not my computer (double click mozila and it pops up half a second later) just the page wont load like its sopposed to. it loads like its dial-up....god forbid...this is my longest post.....ill laugh if ur actually reading this.....


    im getting a techincian to check on the fiber optic cables in my area, might be a lil dirty, like it was last week...


    ill polly be up and running in about a week...


    im so miserable, depressed, i wanted to play this game cause my friend said it was freakin awsome. now if you dont mind im going to go slit my wrists and pray to god OP_R8R cand invent a reviving machine... see u later
