    I know it's probably to late for that stuff, and I don't want to push the date of the release of CF 1.9.


    Here's my idea. It would be nice If GR had access to specials guns that they could give out has rewards for winning a special event they organized. I'm thinking of special items like a gun with a different bullet colour. Nothing that would give the winner an unfair advantage. It would be more like a status symbol, sort of equivalent to a medal on the forum.


    I think it would be a good tool for the GR to initiate a RP event. People love to collect rare stuff. And sometimes, using a carrot is more useful then using a stick.



    Just a thought.

  • Changes

    Those changes are not in 1.82. So we don't have to worry about it yet. but it might be a good idea to sell our gunboat and destroyer befor 1.9 get's activated.

    A small wish; an EMP torp to complement the torps that do armour damages. maybe make it very slow so that it's not over powerful.


    edit: and a cargo ship sold in coalition space, something to increase the diversity of trains. Even if it's just a train repaint.

  • PC smoked

    Sad to hear you are having PC problems.


    One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is the windows install/hard drive (I know it's unlikely to be the source of the problem but better test it anyway since it cost nothing). Did you try to boot with a Linux live cd?


    Also, make sure you have unplugged all your USB devices. I've had PC not booting problems that ended up being caused by a defective USB device stopping the bios from starting.

    That should be the other way around, 24% if your father's father's is Greek and 25 to 26% for any other combination. But you can be certain that your Y chromosome is full Greek tho. But since the Y is smaller then the X you have a smaller Greek % then if it was the X chromosome that was of Greek origin.


    Anyway, those numbers are only estimation because you could still be carrying 50% Greek genome but that's a very statistically unlikely event.

  • Downloading patch rules

    Those patch are essential, you can't avoid them. They're what permits the dynamic economy of the server. If you ever manage to connect without them you risk being kicked from the server has a cheater or even crash the server.

    The thing is that you can license your copyright to a company A for the US only, a company B for Europe, etc. It's an old business model that made sense at the time where the Internet did not exist, because the author did not have the mean to distribute his own work and no company had world distribution. And like all business models that become established, it's very hard to change it even when it doesn't make sense anymore.
