And it would allow people to easily hide their money where pirates can't get at it. So I prefer the current system. Anyway, I'm not sure features that allow people to play the multi-player with less and less interactions with other is a good idea.

Who wants an antimatter drive? They are finicky and cost way to much in fuel. I much prefer the singularity drives. -

Picard has seen something similar with an other peace of equipment. If it's the same bug, I would expect that the drops that are not visible in cargo will be visible when trading with an other player.

OP already stated that restarting the game is not needed because the changing economy is not activated yet.

Since this was developed as an enterprise solution for mycrosoft servers. They just transfered the tech to the consumer side.
