    good afternoon everyone
    don't really know where to post this but it carries on from a previous post by magnet14
    re station in Styx
    I read that it may be an Admin/SP only base , this I can understand and if I was MP I would agree and abide but I play only singleplayer or sometimes me 'n' m8 will link up and play
    I am the administrator of my own pc therefore my logic dictates I should be able to do anything in the game
    obviously my thinking is flawed somewhere would some one please explain it to me in words of 3 sillybbubbbles or less :)

    everyone throws up the 'what if I killed my Grandad' question dohhhh! what fool would kill his /her own ancestors?as you say instant paradox

    and the matrix IS chaos , we spend all our lives trying to make sense of it ,we train ourselves to see the order in it, then lock it down and make others see it the same way we do then we have continuity , which makes 99.9999999.......% of people very happy

    string theory is damn close to explaining what and who we are , everything is energy ,you ,me ,the monitor in front of me ,the power it uses ,a glass ,the water in it ,everything is energy vibrating at different frequencies

    I hope not , without the strict order at that level we would not exist , no cohesion between molecules ,no solid bodies.
    Its the subatomic level thats the stuff of chaos , get down to the either or choices and it gets a little weird.

    and no I'm not a white coat but I have trained and qualified as a Technician and as a Horticulturalist , for the last twenty years I have been what I always wanted to be....an Artist


    training as a techi taught me to want to know how things worked

    as a gardener getting my hands in the soil and studying in close up the flora and fauna made me realise there is a pattern to things micro and macro


    being an artist made me understand the connectivity of it all



    and the illusion is that there is only one reality

    impossible is a word made up by people who think they can't


    Regarding the well documented case of the Roman soldiers it wasn't time crossing over, the people who experienced the event simply were in the right frame of mind to read the vibrations left at that place,something which has apparently happened many times to many people in many different locations.
    Every event is is located at a crossroad in time , choices are made lines cross and something happens, however a slightly different choice i.e say crossing the road at a certain place and time will result in an accident but if you hesitate and stop at the kerb the vehicle goes past without incident, your life had two possible outcomes, two futures, who is to say which is the reality ,well we do ourselves we say the one we experience now is the ONLY one because that is what we are taught from birth and constantly through our childhood it is reinforced until its the accepted norm.There is more than one reality, where do you think you go when you sleep? Do you think dreams are the brains VR game?
    Oh no my friends dreams are the gateway , you think that dream about something you did in the past is JUST a memory it's not it is your brain accessing the matrix.
    Yes time and space are multi-directional and imagining the whole is almost I say again almost beyond the ken of mere mortals but not impossible , the closest imagery I have found to approximate how I perceive the matrix is the OPTE Project (google it please I don't know how to post links yet, take a look it is fascinating) but look at it and imagine a zillion times more lines
    Time is not linear man made that up so he could sow his crops timelines go in all directions, fill every gap so much so that there is no space left its solid the matrix is solid and neverending................................................
    got to go now theyre locking the doors and turning off the lights :P

    Oh well done
    I saw the station a while back noticed it was dockable but I failed,it initiates the manouvre then just bounces round the shield so I thought it may be a nomad only base and I have a poor relationship with them :P
    I tried again the other night on my way thro' to Sovetskaya same result I got my bottom booted again.
    I am going to find it intolerable to know theres a railgun out there that I can't have:( :(
