First of all, I will not appologize untill I get an appology from Gunny for wrongfuly accusing me of cheating. Yes I know I entered your system without asking. First of all, I was just passing through. Second, I tend to be a pirate when I play Freelancer. So maybe I wanted to start something, but I was not hacking. So dont get angry at my because I dodged your cruise disruptor. (Its easy, fire 3 countermeasures then fly straight up. If the countermeasures dont draw it off then it will lose speed when it turns to follow you and then you can out run it.) Which is exactly what I did. I was 12k away from the gate when I outran you to X either. I was 6k away, just outside of sensor range, I saw you pass through the trade lane so I hauled ass to the gate, simple as that.

You can check all your server logs, ask all the people I've flown with. Most of which are from IOC since they are the only ones on late at night. "IOC Larv" is all I can remember. The guy who gave me money was something "Tail" or something like that. Please forgive my lack of knowing things. I was buzzed, on the verge of being drunk, when all this happened. BUT that does not change the fact that I WAS NOT cheating. So if you say your sorry, I'll say I'm sorry and put this behind me.

Wow you people misscommunicate horribly. I DID tell Burro that an IOC told me about Vega yet I said nothing about the guy givine me money. And your wrong Gunny, I didnt say anyon gave me class 10 guns, I went to Sol this morning to get those with the money the IOC char gave me. And Jon, wtf do you expect, you were in X so was I, but when I died I respwaned in Custodian I wasnt that far from New York gate. As a matter of fact, I docked at Rochester and re-supplied and then asked you to meet me at Manhattan. To my surprise you were already there when I got there, so if you want to start accusing people, how did you get to Manhattan so fast if I'm "speed modding". You people are the biggest sore losers I've ever played against. Your like my little cousin when I beat him at a game, he accuses me of cheating. Yeah I know Custodian is "owned" by BG but I dont care, maybe I wanted to start something. But this bit about calling me a cheater is getting old. If I have too I'll take a screenshot of my cruise speed every time I'm on, date and time it and post it on the forum. my speed never goes over 450. If you dont believe me, meet me at Manhattan and I'll show you.

My target was Vega actualy...your system happens to be connected to it, sadly enough. Made a 12k run? dude look, I was 6k away from the gate when you entered the trade lane. You even scanned my character and found no illegal guns or speed mods. My char is not maxed out, I'm in a deathblade for crying out loud, I dont even have shield or armor upgrades. I barely got my PPCs this morning. As for the speed mod bit let me take a screenshot for you, In cruise mode my ship flys like 400 or something like that, I was keeping pace with an IOC character erlier today in hamburg. His name was Larv something, he gave me info about heading to Vega to get escape pods to sell hence the reason I was heading there. Yes I was in Texas today a lot...you know theres a prison base there right? Yeah I thought you DIDNT. I made several escape pod runs from Frankfurt. I'll leave my char on all night for ALL SERVER POLICE to scan if it will shut you up. And when you all find out I'm not cheating it will burn even more that I got a starflyer past you in Custodian.

Ok hold up right there. Lets see who disrespected who first. I was passing through and yes I know its a clan system but I was going straight through to X. So he logs onto his BG char and camps the X portal, I see him on my long range scanner and immediately hear "Incomming missile" I spam my countermeasures and then fly STRAIGHT UP to avoid the missle, he follows me, a take a long turn around and fly into X. He gets angry and says I'm using speed mod so he gets on his SP char and drops me in the middle of a DK fleet, I survive and dock. He then scans me for any mods and finds NOTHING. So since hes already pissed at me I decide to fly my second char to X. I fly into Custodian and make to to the trade lane right next to the X portal. I take it about one ring down the lane and then jump out. I waited for him to come back from X and then I teased him. I got just close enough for his scanners to pick me up and then I engaged my cruise engines and headed in the direction of that small red planet. I stop about 10k from the X portal and wait....I see him and his follower fly past in the trade lane and then I gun it towards the X portal...as soon as I'm through he boots me from the server yet again. This guy is a really big sore loser. So since he booted me, I just stayed logged off. So no I wasnt using speed mod, just cleverness that I picked up from playing this game since its release. I'm sorry that I'm tricky and out smarted someone on your server, but just because I've done this does not give him the right to claim I'm a cheater without first scanning me.

P.S. It must burn....my second char is in a starfyer...yet I got it past his blockade....thats a shame. I guess I'm going to be called cheater for that too arent I?

Your messing with Wedge...I've been around the "Universe" so to speak and I've tried nearly every mod out there. Theres bound to be a certain ammount of skill in a player as weathered as me.

Yeah this guy is a sore loser, he gets on his SP char to torment me and drop me in really bad spots all over X and still doesnt kill me. Then when I sneak my second char past his blockade and get it into X, also. He accuses me yet again of using a speed mod, he even got on his SP char and found nothing. This guy needs a serious talking to.

I was passing through Custodian and these 2 players tried to fire cruise disruptors at me. I used countermeasures and took evasive maneuvers and easily avoided the disruptor. This made the other guy angry and he began calling me a cheater. So I said to him "I used a countermeasure dumbass" and then he says "wrong thing to say to me" and swaps to his server police char. Once he finds out I'm not using a speed hack he begins missusing his Server Police rights and dropping my ship in the middle of DK raids. Please do something about him. [1]

Are there some screenshots where I can see the difference between the 2 types of HUDs to pick from? The red crossfire HUD hurts my eyes but I want to know if the Starlancer revamped HUD looks good because I dont want to have to do another install of FL if I have to deactivate the mod.

Ley me try a clean install.

Every time I try to activate the mod I get an error message at the end saying the mod could not be activated and it asks me to restore my backups.

Heres the error message in my mod log:

Is this a fixable problem?

I'm new to the server...but certainly not the game. I've been playing since its release, but anyway. I was wondering if anyone could tell me a really good trade run to do. Or better yet, a few really good trade runs seeing as how I'm going to have to start out in a weak small freighter. Also, could anyone tell me how much the Bullpup Mk III cost as well as the Shroud VHF? Thanks in advance.
