    the portal was, is and always will be a cool place to meet ppl. on the many internet forums i passed SWAT was the most respectful and cool at the same time (the other one which was also respectful, but not too funny, was a clan, with less than 30 active members on the board... nvm)


    i also never saw a crazy CF bombman fanboy walking somewhere...


    taking that as base (respectful, cool and controlled board without censorship)+no fanboys, we can conclude something...

    yep, the "ASAP" i put was a way to make some1 to read that topic, preventing it from being forgot with no replies. also, the content of my first post didn't had any order i.e. "i need models and u must gimme!"


    Angel replied well, but he/she, or any1, didn't said that the current Disco work could be used on other mods (it isn't nowhere on the mod package), otherwise i would just PM someone instead of asking on a topic.


    Also, for a newbie on the forum, someone with 4.500 posts (less on that time, ofc) would more or less have some knowledge on respect with newbies on the forum. Also, some1 with more than 2 thousand posts on any forum isn't a "random person". So, i taken his reply on that time as the general way to act of the Disco players on ur forum.


    Take on mind that on those times TLR was off for months, I didn't had any reference to start my mod (like new tutorials, models, etc), and i was desperate lookin' for them. desperation = use of ASAP.


    anyways, let's close my case now. keep on the main question here, what u're discussing with OP.

    or not... the audience will only care if something they really care (like religion and things like that) get an award or something. meanwhile, if they see 90% FPS mods, they'll go for them...


    more or less like that:
    - player looks for any mod for his/her game collection (FPS, RTS, simulation, etc)
    - player finds a lot of FPS mods.
    - profit! ofc, he/she has FPS, so he/she can play 'em...


    i mean, they will only care if they feel a conflict with their interests...

    -u're a newbie modder who asks for help on a mod which has already some roots, and ask for help in a respectful and non-n00b (aka "gimme free shipsz plz foar freeee") and gets really bad answered


    -your mod community, as OP stated above, has a bad fame on its marketing and on discussing other FL mods.


    so, i thought some1 from Disco had found somewhere about FL:EU and solved to use a french house, with the same name from my mod's french house.


    anyways, i'm studying C programming and other stuff all the day long, and now it's 1 am and i'm almost sleeping over the keyboard. any prob i'll re-post tomorrow.

    yep. I agree w/ OP and Argos... as i said on another post, I was already there on 2k7, when I was just another independent modder. their treatment with other users was horrible... i just needed help, and they treated me really bad.


    btw, i'm starting to wonder that a house called "Gallia" there isn't simple coincidence... Hey ppl, what about a Italian and a South-American, or another house to get the 8, and then start a big-scale war with Bretonia neutral?
