I logged in well before the "Ion storm" and after that the commodities are still the same. So "market goods" didn't update/change this morning or for some reason I had the updated files before the "ION storm".

Could someone please unban my account? Happened with char /D/s\F\-AvSM(T)

This is what happened: Started up my pc, used the launcher to download files, started CF, bought some diamonds from planet NL, launched to space -> kicked out. I tried this several times to figure out the problem and eventually account was banned. It didn't kick me out when I didn't buy anything and launched to space so it seems that my files were not updated (well launcher did update something).

If I have understood correctly (thanks to TSH guy): If you buy something, launch to space and get kicked out from server -> restart pc, use the launcher as usually and everything should work fine now?

I had the similiar problem but the complete reload from launcher didn't help. Only the daily server restart helped for that problem.

Well that didn't help today because I couldn't buy anything. Server disconnected as soon as I bought something and launched to space.

Server restart at 9am (gmt +2) helped for that but before that that was really annoying.

I dont know if this is a bug or is there something wrong with my files but...

On Tuesday I bought some goods from a station. After a while the server crashed and I didnt continue playing. Wednesday I played again and selled the goods in the station where I started. Server disconnects me due to a possible cheat (the usual cheat message which you can see every day these days) when I launch to space. When I tried to launch the game from the launcher I got a error message "unable to connect to multiplayer ['5]" or something like that. This error disappeared when computer was restarted. This happened two times but thanks to UR guy he told me to sell the goods->leave the game->come back to game and that worked out very well.

Today I have a similiar problem with goods. It does not matter what goods I buy from Planet New London and launch to space the server disconnects me (due to cheating).

This is really annoying what should I do?

This is the best post in the forum for a while [thumb]. People just dont know that the game must be restarted via launcher. The same problem was with the 1.7 and maybe because people just dont know this (all players do not read the forums!).

There is a very simple thing to solve this in Antivir:

Go to the "configure antivir" or something like that. Put the expert mode ON. Go to the "real time scanning" or similiar and somewhere in there is a option where you can leave a folder out of this real time scan. Just put your Freelancer folder in there and so on the Antivir wont check that folder. No need to turn off firewall or anti virus program or lower the security levels.

I dont actually care if NY is not a "safe" place anymore. There is more and more similiar systems. I can live with this.

But the problem for me is that these rules (old and new) are on the forum. There is too many different threads about the new rules and its very complicated to follow them. Please keep all the UP TO DATE rules somewhere all together ie. the CF website rules page.

And some feedback to the OP:

You are the service supplier. Players in the CF server are your customers. You said that you have read all the discussions about this NY thing and thats great. You have listened your customers even we are not paying for the service that we are using. Some people (clan) pays but they can also get something more than a normal freelancer does.

Theres no sense of searching the clansystem info from the forums. Simple way is to check from the above mentioned site.

Actions have already taken by serverpolice.

We cannot move anywhere without fear in our *ss that someone is going to wipe us out (i was killed couple of times yesterday) And also we have now a very bad reputation because of these things that we have not obviously done.

Gunny said that he has some screenshots about our restricted actions... but i never got an answer when i asked to see these screenshots.

This sounds so stupid to me: DSF member has been breaking the server rules.... but you cannot show it and the member does not know about it.
