The jangly guitar launch music is 100% out of place, it doesn't fit with any of the other music or any of the ambiance of the game at all.

In fact, it needs to be jettisoned out into the vaccum of deep space, where upon it shall never be heard again.

I love the work the team has done on this mod for freelancer, it's superb.

However, I simply can not continue to play the game until I find the audio file responsible for the Jangle, Jangle, Jangle, Jangle

EVERYTIME you take off. I will find the file responsible for this atrocity, in an otherwise beautiful universe and it shall be terminated.

EDIT : I found the audio file, the full song is a really beautiful piece of music.

It just doesn't work for ship launch tho' when the song is always being played and clipped down to 5 or 6 seconds.

Yes, though after you get the first ship from Juni, you can't then go to the shipping dealers straight away and click on (select ship)

as this will cause the game to crash to desktop, this can only be done with the shipping dealers when the second campaign mission is complete.

It was just a bit confusing because I had no idea why it was crashing and I thought it was going to be a constant issue when trying to (buy ship)

I realize you can't click on the option (select ship) with the shipping dealers until the second mission of the main campaign is complete.

(Destroy the Enemy Rogue Base) After the Rogue Base is destroyed the game won't crash to desktop.

Quite confusing because in Crossfire, the player starts with enough money to buy another ship straight away,

and at the very start of the vanilla game, even though you only started with 500 credits,

you could still click on (select ship) which would then bring up another window with an option to (buy ship)

even if you couldn't afford it.

Actually, when open SP is enabled the game doesn't crash to desktop when buying a ship, (started a new game, instead of loading an old save)

However that surely isn't a solution to the issue, because the game crashes to desktop when open sp is disabled.

So the entire campaign missions within Freelancer and Crossfire are unplayable?

Are we not meant to buy a new ship if we want to play the single player campaign?

I'm a bit confused tbh, am I missing something?

Hi, How did you sort the crash to desktop when buying a new ship?

If I enable open SP the game still goes to black screen and then CTD.
