    It's not a trojan horse. I had the very same issue with my AVG. Select "Ignore Thread" and then add the Freelancer folder on the exceptions list, once the mod is activated. Disabling your AV during the activation is a good move as well.

  • Flmm Error...

    Close the program and run it again. Then it will work. Just to make sure, stop your AV when activating the mod - AVG detects one of the files as a trojan horse, which isn't true.

  • Need a bit of help from someone living at the UK

    I consider moving to the UK, yes. Since Bulgaria's real name is Absurdia for a while now I don't find a reason to stay. The bills are like twice bigger than my payment and surviving here is close to impossible. I can say that I know English a little bit and I hope that if I move one day I`ll be able to find a job quickly. It will be a good clean start though if I get there it will be just me, my mom and my almost 7 years old sister without anyone we know and stuff so I`m interested in finding out more about the UK's laws.

    Hey guys,


    I have a few questions in my mind which I can't find answer of myself, so I decided to ask here ( this was the only mature community that came up on my mind ) and I`m really hoping that you will be able to answer me.


    So, I`m specifically concerned about a few things which I definitely dislike in Bulgaria and I want to find out more about the laws at the UK.


    1st, for example - a lone parent with 2 childrens. One of the childrens is younger than 18 and the another one is already older than 18. In Bulgaria, if the parent dies, the older children has no right to adopt it's brother/sister and the younger child is being taken by the goverment and there are looong and painful procedures while the kid is being thrown from a family to a family or from a foster home to another.


    2nd, do you have any idea what are the benefits received from the goverment if you're a lone parent with a child at the UK ? And do they still exist if you're not an official citizen of the country ?


    I really hope that you will be able to help me out guys, this is really important to me.

    Daywalker, yea, sorry mate, after I read my post again I noticed that I sounded a bit "frustrated", nothing like that, keep the warm feelings ^^
    husker, I think that subtargetting was when you target a missle or weapon on your enemy's ship. I remember that back in 1.7 if you target a missle you could easily destroy it and your enemy is losing his opportunity to use missles until he re-spawns.

    I`m sure that OP is reading these threads and I hope that he will throw some light on this. Lashan, Lashan .. that dragon lady :P
    Yea, she has the bad habit to disappear now and then :D But yea, Assault event was the best event for me and I`ll be happy to take part in it again :thumbsup:

    Let's make things clear - I`m not complaining, I`m just sharing my opinion.


    I`ve never said that people should start using guns only. And it doesn't really matter if the missles are tracking or not, it's all down to the skills. Even if your opponent launches his missles perfectly, one button pressed in the right time can take him down.


    Also, I`ve never said that I`m not respecting the choice of the rest to play with tons of missles, but I don't respect people who quit the fights with the complaint that "missles are not tracking", well learn to play with guns damn it.

    When everything turned into a missle fight, it was close to impossible for me to survive because of the lag because of my weak graphic card. Back then I ragequit for a few months because I couldn't believe how people were able to take me down in a few turns.


    After that, I realised that if I can't find a way to learn to fight with the new methods, I must find a way to counter-attack it. And I did. Now instead of firing a torpedo against you, I`m using your own torpedo to either take down your shield or make you suicide, because my torpedo carries the danger to explode right next to me and kill me, while your torpedo carries the danger to reach me ;)


    Husker, I'd love to try some guns only fights :) After that we can try all as well :thumbup:


    EDIT : yes, the Phoenix Project Cannon used to be the most popular weapon lol
