The Kossac has been slowed down, you can't take out anything with it now... But I still don't get it what was unstable in this ship, I didn't noticed anything...

Part 2

"Ok, this place is getting creepy...". Strange readings from everywhere in this system. It must be in the outskirts of the Crow nebula with this blue painting.

Nomads are everywhere, and the manuevering off of their patrols starts to deplete the engine core. All supplies are running, so started to worry bit... Untill the scanner picked up a new jumphole.

Sweet Sirocco, this chain is getting too long... I had no choice, the route back was blocked by a strike carrier, and I'm not a madman, nor a kamikaze, so I jumped in the wormhole.
What the jumphole throwed me out was worse where I came from: into a middle of a nebula...

This expedition is getting even deeper and deeper... I wonder if anyone managed to make it this far. Maybe I'm the first human who's flying here? Can I compare myself what that guy who found Styx? No, I can't. The guy was blown off into millions of pieces, while I'm still alive...
I started to scan the system, if there's any useful here. Still no luck here.

The nebula contained varius planets. While I passed one I have found a strange phenomenon.

The planetoid was smaller than some asteroids, but it's gravity well and atmosphere was so strong that it almost killed me. Only the massive engines of the old Kossac saved my life once again.
With these many nomads, I began to wonder that these systems are the hearland of these aliens. Fat chance of that.

This had a positive side eventually. Fate is sarcastic, that's for sure, becouse technically those kept me alive who wanted to kill me. With running low on supplies, I often turned back to destroy nomad patrols for essential stuff.
At last, I have found another jumphole leading out of the nebula.

Where I landed was a big suprise. "I know this place..." I mumbled, as I had a look at the radar. It was the lower unknown.

The left engine of the Kossac suffered a malfunction, so I headed to the automated world of Gammu for essential repairs.

After leaving the system, I passed corsair and other criminal space. The expensive bribes came handy this time...
"The journey ends here..." I made a small smile as I closed in visual contact with the first bastion of civilization: Freeport 9.

Part 1

"Yhup, another dull day.." I thought when I strapped myself in of my good old Kossac. Suddenly something started to buggle my mind: New Worlds... Hm, I wonder where are those. I decided to leave the regular patrol route and make an expedition to the unknown. But where shall I start?
With the help of my 6. sense, and a bunch of LP ships searching with the same goal, I started my search in the upper unknown. Didn't found anything apart from the nomad raiders, but then... The scanner picked up something.

I had a closer look, and... Good Lord, I might have found something! I definiatly found what I was searching for.

Jumping in! Lets see what's on the other side. The hyperspace void throw me light years away, as it usually does.
When the ship broke through into the normal space, I first thought I miss jumped into Dublin. But I don't remember any planets in Dublin... Becouse there wasn't any. I'm in one of the unknown system... The realm of aliens.

Well, something never changes: the nomad hospitality... Giving maximum power at the scanner, I started to circle around the system, searching evidence of human life, valuable wreck or another jumphole. Minefields, some base debris... Maybe this was a forbidden human outpost, captured by the nomads. The 3 planets were dead and undockable. After I reached the jumphole, I had to realize that this place is a dead end.

Can't do anything about it, I had to get back with the knowledge that there's nothing here worth to come.
For unknown reason, I continued to scan the system. After 5 minuits of flying in the void, I noticed another jumphole. The Emperor smiled at me again!

Probably I won't find any more jumpholes here, so better I find out what's on the other side of this wormhole.

During the redeployment of the Dreadnought, CFPD ships attacked the battleships in X, reasoning they are "corrupt", and they shoot or bribe criminals, ergo: pirates, thugs, MERCENARIES...
Let me get this straight: mercenaries are NOT criminals, and we kept this tradition. We done jobs for everyone, from military to pirate factions, therefore we filled the tiny space of the "neutrals" in the roleplay. Whoever found out that we are criminals is an idiot.

Ok guys, I'm starting to get sick of what is going on here.
Yea, OP is a good man a good modder, and a hell of a pilot, but come on, can we a live a day without an "OP íz da goood!!!"?
Try to have a look around on LR for the Emperor's sake. Crossfire is a very good mod, but not the best. In fact, there's no 'best' mod: a lot of teams worked hard to create masterpiece mods like Freeworlds, Evolutions, Nomad revenge, Freelancer: Combat Evolved, Firefly mod and so on. Give at least a sh't at them too.

And I think that if he would just post somewhere else, we would flying in the hyperspace system or on the surface of lost paradise by now...
For the Emperor' sake, what's the point of this? Like if it matters where do we download the mod from...

I prefer Alucard' suggestion. Maybe the mod can be uploaded to one of the big gamer sites like Filefront, Gamershell, Fileplanet etc.
