That can't be it cause i'm having the exact same issue with ships that I should be MORE than high enough level to purchase and I have more than enough credits (I am currently flying a Griffin but i'm hoping that i'll eventually be able to purchase some sort of alien ship, such as a Dom'Kavash ship, or a Nomad ship, WITH a shield mount)
