My old Desktop was an intel core 2 duo 3.00ghz with 4 gig of ram and an old Nvida 7600gt 256 mb video card. That system used to run CF2.0 quite smoothly. That is quite a cheap system to get as those parts are now considered to old.

So not a flash modern expensive PC needed really.

I also have 2 laptops with similer CPU's and Ram, But they will not play CF2.0 as the video card thats built into them is nowhere near good enough. So maybe the issue with your Laptop is the video card thats in it is not up to the job

It would be nice to have a base around those systems. But my personal thoughts are that it should be located closer to coalition held systems than menton. Might have to have a good recon mission around those systems to get some more ideas. Gotta admit though Tonga location is a very nice looking area, but would just prefer to see it a bit further on in those systems

I am so tempted to remove that post of yours PE. Not a nice way to welcome new members onto the portal. Thats the type of thing that will put people off coming back

Must have a look at my maps and see what I think. I have 2 freighters, one in Jormder and the other in DK space that will be brought over to whatever system this will be in. Also have a train in Leeds that can be used to bring loads in as well

Now that could be an interesting idea. Depending on what system it could be used to stage events like DK hunt, Also it would make a nice break on the long trip back to sirius. If this goes ahead I will be there to support and help with the build

Hey RDV. I have had that same issue myself. What I found is that I needed to download the microsoft redistributeables from the official microsoft website. That fixed the issue for me. Hope this helps

Danzel sat at the bar in DS17 deep in thought.
Dennzio entered the bar and seeing his friend sitting at a table decided to join him. Dennzio seeing the expression on Danzels face asked "Whats Up" Danzel looked up and replied "There's something on my mind that I just cannot shake" "Its about that first trip through Sudurn" said Danzel"I just keep thinking about the strange things that happened on that run in there, We had the loss of my Ragnarok, Ajay's torps doing an about turn on him, And Then the Alien battlegroup finding the trains and attacking causing the loss of |DP|Repenne. On top of all that we had Tiga go Ghost ship for a while there as well"
Dennzio thought for a moment and said "That was a rather strange turn of events, but the other 2 trips through there went ok"
Danzel replied "I realise that as well, but what happened on that first trip to cause all those problems?
The Dom Kavash managed to recover the wreck of my Ragnarok and have gone over it with a fine tooth comb and cannot find anything that could have caused the wreck. It just puzzles me on what happened. One minute everything was going well, then my ship just destroyed itself and the bats and bots would not function. That seemed to be the start of our issues for that trip." Danzel continued "I really think we need to check Sudurn out again."
Dennzio asked Danzel "Well what do you want to do about it?"
Danzel replied "I think we need to take a flight of fighters in and have a good scout around to see if we can find anything strange in there. Maybe check around to see if there are any wrecks and if we can recover their flight recorders"
"Ok " Says Dennzio, "See what you can arrange"
Danzel sits and starts thinking about a plan "Gotta get Ajay in this as well, Best damn IC guy we know"
"Good idea" Replied Dennzio
Right," Wheres my tobacco and whiskey, Need to come up with a good plan here and try to contact some pilots to see if they will be willing to fly back into that hellhole again"

Oh Great thought Dennzio, Not again."The Dooms have broken through to Weth.They have fleets of ships running riot in here and have caused a great deal of damage so far.The defence stations at the Ryssk gate are offline and heavily damaged.Myrtrrak battlestation is heavily damaged and near the point of collapse.Both jumpgates leading from Weth into Kavash space have been shutdown and locked to try to halt the Dooms from going further.Things are pretty bleak here at the moment"

Dennizo took a big drag from his cardamine joint and thought for a minute.He quickly realized that if they didn't help Weth would be lost and that would be a big issue for all who enter the Inner Core sector as we need to pass through Weth to get back to Sirius again. Danzel waited for the reply"Yes" replied Dennzio "We will send what we can to help" "Great" said Danzel.
